When creating and redistributing accruals, it is now also possible to distribute based on days

When creating and redistributing accruals, it is now also possible to distribute based on days. If you check the option 'Distribution based on days', it is no longer possible to enter 'Start fiscal year' and 'Start period', but you can enter a Start Date. Based on the start date, the first and last periods are then distributed proportionally to the number of days.

Example

Purchase invoice: amount = 300

  • Distribution based on days = true
  • Start date: 21-06-2025
  • Number of periods: 3

Now, 4 periods are created:

  • Period 6 - Amount = 33.33
  • Period 7 - Amount = 100.00
  • Period 8 - Amount = 100.00
  • Period 9 - Amount = 66.67

Explanation: period 6 (June) has 10 days starting from 21-06-2025. Therefore, a period is also created with one-third of the normal period amount (total amount divided by the number of periods). The subsequent periods are created with the normal period amount. The last period is created with the remainder (in the example: 100.00 - 33.33 = 66.67).
