How to edit an activity

In the Activities module, you have many different options. You can create new activities, but you can also edit, copy, delete, and more with existing activities. In this guide, you will learn more about the different buttons that this module offers.

 


 

Copy Activities

 

In the Activities module, it is possible to copy existing activities. This is useful if you want to perform the same activity again, but you can also use the copy as a kind of template when you want to set up a similar activity. Select your desired activity and simply click the Copy 

button to copy the activity. The new entry will appear directly below the original activity. All fields are then editable, so after copying, you can immediately make the necessary adjustments for this new activity. Then click Save 
to save the activity.

 

Delete Activities

 

If an activity is no longer relevant and does not need to be processed, you can delete it. Select the activity you want to delete and click the Delete 

button at the top of the screen. A pop-up will appear asking if you are sure you want to perform this action. Once you click Yes, the activity will be deleted. It is always possible to delete an activity, regardless of the activity's status.

 

Please note!
It is not possible to restore a deleted activity. This action is final.

 

 

Make Activities Active or Inactive

 

The 'Active' checkbox is not editable in the activity list and in the details screen. But with the Change Activity Active 

button at the top of the screen, it is simply possible to deactivate an active activity or reactivate an inactive activity. Note: this change is only possible as long as the activity has not yet reached the 'Ready' status.

If you want to perform this action, first select the activity in question in the list of activities. Then click Change Activity Active 

. A pop-up will open with the option 'Activate Activities'. If you leave this box unchecked, the activity will become inactive. If you check the box, the activity will become active.

 

Start or Complete Activities

 

The status of an activity can be adjusted in two ways. You can select the activity and manually adjust the status field in the details screen, but there is also a faster option. In the toolbar at the top of the screen, you will find the Start Activity 

and Complete Activity 
buttons. If you select an activity in the list and click one of these buttons, the status will change immediately.

 

Field Selector
With the Field Selector, it is possible to add the fields User Started and User Completed to the list of activities. This allows you to see at a glance which user started and/or completed the activity.
